What to Bring on Jill's Adventures

Hiking - Things You Will Need:

  • Comfortable Hiking Attire (stay away from cotton materials) 
  • Sturdy Hiking Shoes (no crocs, flip flops, or brand new boots!) 
  • Day Pack

Hiking - What to Put in Your Pack:

  • Headlamp/ Flashlight
  • At Least 2 Liters of Water
  • High-Energy Snacks
  • Personal Medications 
  • Lighter/ Matches
  • Extra Layers of Clothing
  • Baseball Cap and/or Beanie
  • Sunglasses & Sunscreen
  • Rain Jacket 
  • Notebook & Pencil

Family Outing - ThingsYou Will Need:

  • Comfortable Hiking Attire + Swimsuit
  • Sturdy Hiking Shoes 
  • Hiking Sandals (not flip flops)  
  • Trekking Poles/ Walking Stick
  • Day Pack

Snowshoeing

  • Sturdy hiking boots, snowshoes (available at additional charge for rent) trekking poles, extra socks, hat, gloves, water bottle, camera, and cellphone/GPS 
  • A small backpack for hiking 
  • It’s always best to be prepared for warm, cool, and sometimes rainy conditions. Be sure to dress in layers! No cotton.
